Did I say I was bored? Remind me not to say that again...

Yes, life has taken a turn, somewhat for the more interesting, but mostly for the just really rather busy. It looks like I may be able to keep on top of it all, but it's going to be.. 'fun'.

I've sent a letter to the bed place demanding a refund as the advertising was misleading, and they're also in trouble with Trading Standards for the same reason. We'll see.

My house insurance hadn't gone through, despite someone taking payment. I simply never received the documentation. After conflicting stories from the place they've now taken the line that I would not be covered in the event of an accident as they hadn't received payment. Whatever. I've been uninsured for the last month and had assumed the payment had gone out - so that's another £300 quid I need to find.

Luckily, I've just got the first of my quarterly bonuses this month, and it's nearly top whack. That's close to the £300 I needed, so that's worked out well thankfully :)

So now I need to pay for my car tax, the car repair bill (which is mostly repaired but I think I should just sell it now when it's been MOT'd), the house insurance and then buy bedroom furniture.

Went to bed really early last night and slept right through. I needed that.

I'm confused. Did someone take payment, or not?

Ah, yes. What I meant is someone took my card details and told me the payment had gone through, and told me to look out for my documents in the post. What actually happened was neither of these things.

Aaaaah, right. Wit' ya' now Ted. :)

Oh Christ, that thing with the house insurance is awful! Once you've got the actual insurance sorted out and in place then would it be worth complaining to the company about their failure to sort this out properly when you first called them?

I already have, but not officially. I pointed out that I could have gone somewhere else, and suggested they ensure I have a refund for my time and trouble. In fact I will call them shortly and find out what's going on..

Hmm, BillsOut > CashIn seems to be order of the day at the moment... :/

At least the insurance hiccup has been sorted *before* it became an ultra-serious problem (unless I'm missing some news somewhere).

No no, no problems; just annoying. It could have become a major problem if I'd tried to claim during that time though.
