Yes! I am in a good mood because there was a cocky guy in the pub this afternoon. He sauntered up to the pool table when Ric and I eventually managed to finish our game (admittedly we took a long time as we weren't particularly in the mood for it). He pushed in front despite us having a couple of nuggets on the table. He said he'd play winner stays on in his smarmy cocky attitude, so I agreed *grin*.

Apparently throughout the game he was making faces whenever I was taking my shot, but I beat him. Twice. *grin* :)

He flirted with some girls and later on made a comment about me not adhering to his stereotypes. I replied that I wasn't someone to adhere to stereotypes ;)

I wasn't threatened by him, in fact I quite liked him - at least he had personality :) His attitude was alright; he lost graciously despite trying to put me off by telling me it was a pressure shot and that he'd actually 'play properly' in the second game. Aaaaah *smirk*. I took him down a peg or two *grin*.

Well just thought I'd share that all with you and get on with the rest of my day :)

Stereotypes, my ass.

Wish I'd been there. You could have shattered his illusions totally and possibly made him realise that noone is QUITE what they seem..

Lol, yeah, that would have been funny :)

However the stereotype comment came about because he commented on how craply he was playing yet when the pressure was off he could pot the balls. I replied that it was the same when I played golf - when they weren't looking it went over the trees on the hill. He then made the stereotype comment in response to that as I put my leather jacket on.. lol.. think I would have confused the life out of him if you had been there *grin*

"confusing" - thats a new word for it LOL

I bet the only reason Azekeil quite liked him was because he beat him twice.
Blokes like you a lot more when they can beat you at something, that's why I always let Azekeil beat me at pool too ;)

Lol you never play me at pool :p

You're right, it probably does have something to do with it. Still it was fun playing even though I didn't know the outcome of the games then :)

And any time [livejournal.com profile] kissycat1000 wants to come and confuse me she's more than welcome *grin*

You tell me.. you bought it :p

Well, if I'd have seen your stunning machine when I bought mine things might have been different, the fantastic features like having to stick your arm out the sunroof and try and squirt water on the windscren while half of it runs down your arm would probably have clinched it

ROTFL!!!

Yeah it's a classic feature that noone can deny adds character and class to the car.. along with the dodgy petrol gauge that let us think I had just under a quarter of a tank when actually we had nothing and put-putted into the next (mercifully close) garage on fumes...

Yeah, bags of character that car of yours. I like the way it hunches down, and zooms away at the traffic lights, wheels spinning like crazy in the snow whenever a Peugeot 205 GTI pulls alongside - class

I beat him - once. What's the problem? Okay so I was already going 20 when I hit the lights and he was stopped... what about the other time when I beat that BMW? He wasn't expecting it. I didn't beat him the second time when he was expecting it.. lol.. oh well :)

And before you say anything I'm NOT turning into a meader :p
