I am finding I have no time to read or update this any more. My paid account runs out probably tomorrow and I'm seriously contemplating whether I need to renew it. I know I'm going through a.. well.. selfish phase but I'm building my new life, with new friends and whatnot. It all takes time. Plus I'm finding I want/need a lot of time to myself at present as well. Not sure what that's all about.

Oh, and I have no strength in my hands at present. Not sure what that's about either.

Other than that, I'm still thoroughly enjoying my new job. The atmosphere is lively and the politics are friendly but challenging; these are interesting times this company is going through.

Ack, it's probably just a phase. But [livejournal.com profile] beeby had to email me to check something wasn't seriously wrong as I hadn't updated for 9 days..

Meanwhile, I shall get back to skimming posts.

Do you have any aches in your knuckles, wrists, upper arms or shoulders? If so, give careful consideration to the risk of RSI. As a techie type, I hope you don't need to be told that — but I know several people who have done lasting, crippling damage to themselves for keeping typing "just a few more days" rather than stopping or seeking a remedy. Don't forget you've recently changed job, and therefore also desk, keyboard, footrest (if any), etc. Subtle changes can make a big difference to the risk of typing injuries.

If anything bad happened to you (God whatever forbid), I know enough of your close friends that I'm sure I'd get to hear about it. Therefore, I wouldn't fret if you maintained radio silence for a while. Nor, I expect, would most of your other readers.

And I certainly don't expect you to read every last word of my journal. If it becomes a chore, just slack it. (-8

If you're not in the mood to say stuff in livejournal, don't say anything in livejournal. If you feel like saying something, say it.

Do you need to renew it to keep using it?

Well I'm using computers less if anything at the moment. And at work I get up regularly to sort out other people's problems.
