Quick update thing
Nov. 16th, 2004 05:41 pmParty was small due to illness/clashing events, but rocked and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. Or perhaps they're all scared of me and I can only see their 'nice to
azekeil' posts.. naah ;) I love you all lots :) Bigger, better, more in the summer, and I won't take no for an answer :)
Not been able to read LJ much - been ill/busy lots myself.
One last thing. Got an unattended network install of Windows XP SP2 PLUS applications working in the last couple of days. Very, very chuffed with it all. Almost techno-magical, installing an OS without anything other than a network connection ;) People at work pleased/impressed/relieved as required. :)

Date: 2004-11-16 04:59 pm (UTC)It's fairly simple to convert it into a network install as well.
Got a full setup including complete unattended install of Windows XP SP2 with additions of Media Player 10, .NET 1.1 SP1, MSN 6.2. Also included FULL Office 2003 CD1, Nero 6.6, Acrobat Reader 6, Sun Java 1.5 JRE, drivers for my RAID card (so didn't have to press F6 at setup) and a couple of other things. Was all superduper and fitted on 1 CD.
And for the 3 weeks I've been using it, Internet Explorer is f*cked, I can't use the nVidia 6 series drivers and I only get stereo on my sound card not surround.
Bloody annoying as it all seemed to be fine initially (and under Virtual PC)
Back to my original SP1 CD and try again.
