Last night

Last night for me saw me as a gibbering pile of ineffectual goop. I had this slowly rising feeling of panic and felt terribly alone. So, not good. At just gone 11pm we decided I was going to drive up to see kissycat1000. She was ever so nice to me :) *blows a kiss at kissycat1000*

And now to try to bugfix why a network card will only get a DHCP address once it's got a static address... ?!?

As jikatal points out, today's strip of megatokyo is a very good indication of our joint effort on the beast :D

I managed to solve my DHCP problem (stupid kernel parameters) and iron out a few other bugs. I get the last 160GB HDD tomorrow and get to play with making 1TB RAID-5 stripe sets *grin*

Oh, bad news dylan, the fans won't run at 7v. I don't expect you (or anyone else for that matter) to be able to sleep with it on so I'm going to purchase some quieter 120mm fans...

UPDATE: Oh, and with unlimited money, just to satisfy my whim, I would give EVERYONE in the ENTIRE WORLD lots of money so I could watch civilisation come crashing down with a *thump* and start again :)
