Things You Do Not Expect To Happen

This morning I took a shower. Nothing out of the ordinary there. What was out of the ordinary was the extraordinarily strong yet pleasent smell of onions and garlic gently frying. I haven't done any cooking myself recently (I usually cook spaghetti bolognaise and yes my hands would therefore smell of onions and garlic). The smell was strong enough to make my eyes water a little.
