Strangely, this morning, prompted by a post from a fellow on the death of RAW, I appear to have been able to break away from the normal mundanities long enough to rekindle an interest in psychology. I have been devouring information on things I've always been interested in but never managed to make it past the first few paragraphs before my BS detector wobbled around enough to make me feel sick. Or perhaps that was just societal conditioning that made me feel that way?

At any rate, I will soon have a few films to start me off gently before I delve in much further. I feel my creativeness and imagination stirring again as if woken from a long slumber. Now, just got to keep this little candle alive in the hurricane of every day life...

It links to an article written by a controversial member of the linux community, on how there is an opportunity for the new 64-bit OS to be decided, and there is a hard deadline of 2008 for this decision to take effect.

Why is this important? Well, every one of you running a computer may be affected by the outcome of this 'battle'.
