You'd be surprised at how well silly little things like that work. I once aced an interview after spending the whole morning wandering round the office acting as Bob Monkhouse. By the time the interview came around, the jolly japery had offset the nervousness to the point where my mood was perfectly affable.

Go, have fun...enjoy it. There's enough faith in you here to fill several Olympic sized swimming pools. :-)

Aah, I appreciate the distraction tactics. I think I'll be fine. I'm just using the journal to channel my nervous energies when I feel the need (teenage regression therapy *grins*)

Um, by that I mean that I don't think I can because it would be awkward to invite someone into our home if we think they have a problem with me (obviously!!) rather than me spitting my dummy out in a 'wah, you don't like reading my baby obsessed journal so I can't be civil to you IRL!' sort of way. Obviously!

Sorry, I have no problem with you at all. I just was getting swamped by the number of entries on my friends page and rather than have friends listed whose journals I don't read I just unfriend..

Oh for separate read/trust lists! (I know there is a default view, but that somehow feels dishonest..)

Heh, that is okay! I just really worry in case I have said something dreadful as my sense of humour can be a bit black at times and I hate upsetting people! ;)

I honestly didn't take any offense though - my journal is a bit girlie so I know that it isn't to everyone's taste. ;)

Anyway, yes, I am planning something for next month - will get squeee to invite you properly now that I know YOU DON'T WANT TO SMITE ME!! ;)

Argh well I know we're all really busy next month. You know about kissycat1000's birthday on the 6th August? If you can you should all come to that - it's child/baby friendly for at least the afternoon bit... :)
