Shattered. Won't know until mid-end next week, while I'm on holiday. Ah well.

Not sure how the interview went. It was via video conference although he only had a freeze frame after a minute or so (probably me with my finger up my nose or something equally repugnant). Didn't get to talk about what I've been up to recently, so wasn't able to sell myself like before. It was just a technical interview and I had a tough time understanding exactly what he was driving at with his questions. Realised afterwards I'd made a couple of silly mistakes, but hopefully that'll be put down to nerves.

He talked about the benefits offered at the end of the interview, so I'm taking that as a good sign.

Not much else to say right now - a bit of an anti-climax.

Sounds just how my last interview went. Try hard not to pick apart your technique and answers, I started to once the post-interview high had died off. By the end of the week i'd unravelled every single word I said and I was a nervous wreck...

I'm sure it was fine - usually they only do second interviews to make sure you're not a total twonk anyway. I've always viewed them a bit like already having a foot in the door, if you see what I mean.

Thanks. I'm conscious of that, and I think I should be okay. I've already got used to the idea that it's not going to happen, so I'll hold onto that for now and then I might have a 'pleasant surprise'..

Yes, although the guy who interviewed me first was the guy whose job I'm replacing (he's moving into a different role) - the guy who interviewed me this time was the chief architect who I'd be working directly for. So for me it was almost the other way around - the first guy is to make sure I'm not a total twonk, the second to see if I'm serious job material.

I am tired.
I just read your post as "He talked about the benefits offered at the end of the Universe"...
Time for bed
