Also, I convinced everyone to go to the pub for lunch today, and we got given a free pint as well. This day, despite starting groggily, is definitely FTW. :D

Well, on the Met Office map of doom, I'm in yellow, bordering on orange. You're in orange bordering on red.

Given that my car slipped about a bit getting off the driveway this morning onto sheet ice with a few centimetres of snow over the top, I fear you may be getting too much of a good thing…

That premise kind of relies on a job that will let you do that. Mine doesn't.

That said, by 5pm the roads were mostly clear and there weren't many people out. Apparently there's a foot of snow due over night - if that's the case I won't even be going out the door tomorrow, year end or no year end.
