azekeilA friend of mine, Graham, came round last night. He is working as a contractor, but he doesn't actually have a job at the moment. Hence the bastard decided to keep me up until 3am *sigh* ;). Ah well it was good to see him - in fact it was a bit of an eye-opener, as I had not seen him out of context of roleplaying where I know him from. Turns out there's a lot more to him than I first thought - my opinion/impression of him has changed substantially for the better :)
I like it when my friends surprise me like that :) It's refreshing.
Finally managed to finish mucking around with machines - I'll be able to leave them alone for a while now. I've also got round to installing Trillian - so hopefully no more problems for me :)
This weekend's shaping up to be quite a lot of fun. I miss
kissycat1000 - at the moment I feel a little insecure because of that and what's been going on recently, and the fact that I know there'll be a lot of demands on her time (I don't plan to be one). I hope that those feelings will fade when we all meet up and I'll be able to enjoy the evenings fully :)
Managed to solve another problem at work which was worrying me. Just waiting for the tiredness to hit; drinking espresso in the mean time. Also managed to fax off the letter to the insurance company, so I guess I wait and see what happens next.
Tonight I'm going to spend tidying up and doing all the chores I haven't done, and putting together my costume for tomorrow night.
