For now, decided to get just the work done that's needed for the MOT. Two new Dragon GTS tyres (same ones I have at the moment - very good) including fitting is ~£180 from Dave Parry's in Cheltenham. That's pretty bloody good :)

This is all happening on Thurs 26th June. fiendster, any chance you can organise your mate to do the silencer that day if I get it to you/him?

This means the total cost of my MOT is likely to be closer to £250, and most of that is standard wear and tear. That's a lot better. I'll still need to do the service and fix the leaky fuel cap, but that can be done at another time :)

He cannot organise anything if he doesn't know what he is meant to arrange? the bloke does stuff while he is at work in his breaks, so if it's there for him to do it'll get done if it's not it won, as simple as that I just had my head bitten off asking on your behalf, he doesn't get time to read lj so if I pass stuff on it's the only way he finds stuff out! We are not around from 4 onwards so I guess he will have to call you at the end of the weekend.

Eek! Sorry. I tried to call at about 2pm. All I need to know is who/where I am supposed to be taking my silencer, and if it's OK for it to be that day?

It is the place literally next door to hi place of work Reeses MOT, although it's spelt wrong, If you want to him to find the bloke on the day then go in and find fiendster and he'll take you in, you can't pre book you just need to take it in on the day and leave it with him. He didn't come home for lunch today but he is normally here between 1 and 2.

Off to finish my bike up this afternoon. I got a great deal on tyres too 2 BT 090's for £150 at Protyre in Bristol. They're ultra sticky so I recon will only last bout 3000 miles. :-/
