On Friday afternoon my Staff Manager told me wants to employ me to do a sizeable quantity of perl work in Bristol! Fantastic! So the plan was to have a look through the work and talk about it on Monday. What ACTUALLY happened was I got into work and then suffered the symptoms of heatstroke - headache, sickness and dehydration. No amount of cool water or painkillers would convince it otherwise, so I called him up and made my apologies and sloped off to kissycat1000's where I promptly collapsed in bed for a couple of hours.

Time and being able to eat something seems to have knocked it on the head so that's good. I can now type entries, and importantly a writeup of the weekend! (to follow) :)

Not always, but sometimes it happens :)

Sometimes I even have to do pointless work in Excel :S
