So we're in the kitchen preparing dinner - pizza and microwave garlic bread. The pizza's just about done so [livejournal.com profile] kissycat1000 puts on the garlic bread. When she goes to get it out she discovers she's been microwaving thin air - the garlic bread is still nicely uncooked and sitting in the fridge!

Oops.

Microwaving on empty is bad for the oven, isn't it?

On the other hand, I bet she's never walked down the street with a letter to post, eating a Cornetto, then thrown the letter in the bin and posted the Cornetto wrapper.

I did that once. I learned my lesson. )-8

From the fact that you do not appear to be replying to comments any more I can only assume that a certain beautiful feline discovered what you had told us all about her and you are now either dead or in serious pain.

Please get alive or well soon.

:@)

I have done the same thing myself. Put a pizza in the oven, 10 mins later thought "bugger, I havent put the timer on". Went to kitchen an put on the cooker timer. 20 mins later the timer rings, opened the oven to find it empty and pizza still frozen on the worktop. [livejournal.com profile] kissycat1000 is not alone.

Erm, I have, oops. But I was on the way to buy petrol at the time and stopped about 200 meters from the petrol station so it dosent really count.
