Well look at all the ways it could have fallen. Onto one (or both) of the car/s, into the front of the house, completely blocking the road, onto a pedestrian/passing car..
Actually, some of the other directions were marginally less likely, because houses would have shielded the tree from wind. But even so, it looks like a jammy escape for all concerned.
Frankly, all that spare firewood seems to me like an excuse for another barbecue. (-8
Speaking of which, I'm having a party on the 31st July, Himself was asked to point this out to you but in case he didn't then consider yourself invited. BBQ early afternoon, stay over Sat night if you need to. ;)
i know, i know. unfortunately i not. much as i'd love to i'm not really in charge of my own social life and i've had enough of driving myself everywhere and going places on my own! it's a shame i don't work in 'nam anymore :/
