Really! Some bits are SO good with full surround...

Like when you're wandering round a very quiet corridor and suddenly a disembodied female voice from behind and to the right whispers "this way", and as you move towards it, "follw me" from somewhere just round the corner in front of you, then then "They stole my baby" and the sounds of a child crying from all around you with nothing in sight...

Done with the monitor being the only light source... fantastic :D

There's a whole host of reasons I chose that one as you can imagine but Nvidia it was this time around mainly because they're the more graphically advanced at present; I believe ATi have just ramped up their previous design and rereleased it. Prior to that ATi were my favourite for a new upgrade.

Now I just have to see if my 350W power supply can handle it; otherwise it will be a case (to ensure decent ventilation) and power supply upgrade.

As for power amplification, I recommend a Meridian G55 power amplifier. 5×100W of audiophile goodness! Admittedly, it might be slight overkill…
