Weird start to the day

azekeilFirst, I woke up before my alarm, feeling none too bad. This is unusual for an early. Possibly due to being knackered last night I was able to get to bed at 10:30 and sleep.
Second, I went downstairs and saw the swing bin in my kitchen had been knocked over, and some of the chicken bones we had last night from the BBQ were strewn over the floor. Looking up I saw I'd left the kitchen window open. Piecing it all together I remember hearing a thud and a crash. I didn't pay it much attention at the time, but presumably we've had a visitor - either a fox or a cat. I'm leaning towards fox.. although I suppose a cat could have stood on its hind legs and pushed the bin over..
Anyway, note to self, ensure kitchen window is closed at night!
Thirdly, there was a lorry overturned on the A40. Even at 7:20am this morning there were already significant traffic queues - the police were already on the scene and I actually had to wake up and work out how to get into work. Then I spent the next 20 minutes filtering and once again grinning at the fact I ride a bike ;)
One poor sod decided he didn't like the traffic queues and turned around. I wonder if he realised the A40 was blocked, and he'd have to go around the roundabout and rejoin the queue at the end? Oh it's a tough life ;)
