I think the portal idea is a standard one. It's seen as a draw for potential customers because it presents them with all the information they want at a glance instead of having to dig around for it. Frankly I look on it similarly to the 'TV Guide' channel on Telewest... *shudder*

It doesn't *quite* do everything you want, or do it in the way you want :/
