I have been wanting to communicate with people, but have been failing miserably. I go to type a comment, then lose my nerve and bail out. A vicious circle, one might say.

Needless to say, I'm feeling quite down :(

Mead :) kissycat1000 and ev1ldonut have a thing for mead, although not so much recently as far as I can tell. They prefer the honey stuff, which is too sickly for my liking.

As it happens, Moniak is exactly the brand we love, and the only reason we haven't had any in a while is because it needs to be shipped on order from Scotland, and costs quite a bit for a supply to last a while. ;)

They prefer the honey stuff, which is too sickly for my liking
ALL mead is the honey stuff, it's what mead is, alcohol from fermented honey. The only difference is the normal stuff, or 'whiskey' mead, which is distilled (and therefore a bit stronger). :)

I mostly need un-company right now. I'm feeling too selfish to try to deal with others' needs - not anyone in particular's - so I figure I just need some time to myself. Plus the other thing that's been hanging over my head is getting some DIY done, which I spectacularly failed to do over the bank holiday weekend.

However, we are having another film night tomorrow at kissycat1000's; same time (8pm) - if you're free would you like to come along? :)
