• I'm 29 (as of yesterday). I think I've finally reached the age where I've officially stopped wanting to be older.
• I'm back from Prague with kissycat1000, aching a little and fairly tired, as I didn't get in until gone 1am, in bed finally by around 2am.
• English tea! Thank the gods.
• OMGWTFBBQ PARTY This Saturday after 7pm, now with 4 birthdays! Don't miss it!

But given the current climate of "shoot first, work out they're innocent later", possibly wise to leave it at home. Ah well, swordless photos it is then! (for now at least... ;))

I had planned on just chilling out that evening. Which, considering how my life is going at the moment, means I'll probably be there. Maybe slightly late. As long as I can park my car. And I'll be driving back the same night, due to being a boring sod.

As far as I can tell, the only reason to get any older is insurance benefits, but to be quite frank, I'd rather still be 19. ;)

Your present didn't arrive when it was supposed to, but it is on its way! Hopefully it will arrive today. :)

I don't know what I'm running on at the moment, but from the slightly spaced out feeling, I'm guessing it won't last that much longer! I think an hour and a half work is plenty, and I'm due my next holiday now!

Happy birthday! Don't let 29 worry you — I'm now nearer 40 than 30, and the only obvious downside thus far is a bit of hair loss. No doubt my days are hypothetically numbered and that number dwindles with every passing day, but there's not much anyone can do about that. In the meantime I'm happy, and that's good enough for me.

And nobody said you had to act 29. :-p

I want to come to the party, I really do. I've missed a party or two, and this sounds like it's going to be a good one. But there's a scheduling clash with an all-weekend annual spodmeet in Manchester. Dammit! Grargh!

Hair loss worries me! I'm fairly resigned to the fact as my mother's father went bald. Dwindling days is a sad fact too. I can't pin it down specifically right now.

My maternal grandfather died aged 81 with a full head of brown hair. My father, however, lost all his hair by the time he was sixty, showing signs of balding from his late thirties onwards. I'm hoping my grandfather's genes win. (-8
