So this morning I planned to take my bike to get its (late) MOT. Except.. I can't find my keys. I have a sneaking suspicion they dropped out at
chocojon's house over the weekend. At any rate I ended up walking for 3 miles to pick up my car that I'd left close to the bike shop last night in preparation for driving to work this morning after dropping my bike off.
I'm really looking forwards to the Easter weekend, where I plan to mostly bum around relaxing.
ETA:
chocojon's just found my keys. Phew.

Date: 2007-04-03 10:10 am (UTC)Assuming you won't really get them back before the weekend, do you want to re-book your MOT for next week? I'm off work and as long as I have warning of when it will be, I should be able to help with dropping off/picking up. :)

Date: 2007-04-03 11:54 am (UTC)The keyringer looks like the more sensible of the two options there - the loc8tor is more geeky, but I bet you you'd lose the finder end of it :)

Date: 2007-04-04 12:11 pm (UTC)I'll have a top box which can hold something the volume that two helmets placed side to side take up - let me know if you want to bring more than that and I can fit panniers. You can get food and drink locally to save carting it around :)
If you could arrive in Oxford no later than 1pm, to allow us time to get back and set up for light-up time at 3pm that would be great :)
Let me know what you want to do...

Date: 2007-04-04 12:49 pm (UTC)Will probably be bringing a small rucksack (enough to fit a sleeping bag).
I'll probably be getting there about 12.47.

Date: 2007-04-04 01:45 pm (UTC)Don't worry too much about a sleeping bag, we have enough bedding :) I'll bring gloves and a scarf of some description.
So, the train station yes?
In the event the weather's shocking, I've got my car and I'll drive up instead. Not nearly so much fun, but a lot less wet...
