Seems the phishers are getting up to new tricks - this time using a program to modify data in transit between your browser (typically this is done for IE7) and the website - so it looks like you're visiting the correct site, but you're actually sending information to the phishers. Worse, standard AV and AS software hasn't caught on to this yet. Be vigilant for unusual security forms asking for lots of information. Gakked from TheRegister here.

Also worth pointing out is that [livejournal.com profile] ditzy_pole managed to post to my boyf [livejournal.com profile] astro_dust's LJ the other week, and this week my friend [livejournal.com profile] adze posted a comment as himself that showed as posted by MY LJ in our friend [livejournal.com profile] annwfyn's journal.

I now hysterically ensure I log-off, and go to manage log ons to remove any that linger there just in case.

Interesting!

There have been some recent fuckups on LJ's part - I'm guessing this is probably their fault rather than anything else. Who know!?
