Quick reminders/notice of events in chronological order:

Poker night happens fortnightly on Wednesdays (from 30 May 2007). Turn up at 8pm, finish at 11pm-ish, playing Texas Hold-em, £1 to buy-in for the whole night, cash in at the end. Posts usually happen a day or so before to get an idea of numbers.

UPDATE: Card/Board Games weekend on the 30th June / 1st July; let me know if you want to come along and/or require crash space :)

UPDATE: The Tewkesbury Medieval Fayre now appears to be on the weekend of the 7-8th July. So the cave party will now swap to be on the 14-15 July instead (instead of on the 7-8 July as previously announced). Please check your diaries and confirm on ev1ldonut's latest post if you can still make it!

gashinryu is holding his 40th birthday party at ev1ldonut's and my house on Saturday 21st July. We're planning to go to the Joust beforehand so the party won't start until 8pm. Come to one or both! Please comment on his post with your interest.

UPDATED: The medieval banquet plans to celebrate my 30th are currently being suggested for the 18th August 2007. Please go and look at the new post on the matter. Point anyone you think may be interested at that post!

However, the rescheduled cave party falls on my one free weekend that month, so I should be able to make it now!

Mat (<lj user=superboy7) is now 13, still keep in touch with Mushypea from time to time, still frequent LAN parties but rarely play online games. And I only live down the road from you in Newbury :) What are you doing in Oxford? Are you busy this weekend? I have a Lego party going on :)

Ooh! I must visit sometime! But I can't this weekend (actually, weekends are all booked up until August) - maybe an evening? It's a shame, lego party sounds like huge amounts of fun!

I'm currently working on medical imaging software, which is fun (although tends to involve a lot of documentation).

Anyway, amazingly, most of the dates don't clash with the aforementioned except the cave party, so I will mention the TMF and Joust to Andy and hopefully we'll come for gashinryu's party, and we can definitely almost certainly manage the dressing up bit of the medieval banquet which sounds like a fab idea for a birthday. Which we'll hopefully come to whether or not there's dressing up....!

I'm totally doing medieval fair! Also, the cave party, +although+ I think I might be in spain, so will have to see! Poker: bit far to drive for a game of cards (that I don't know how to play). :)

Tewkesbury: sounds intriguing, but I almost certainly have a Norwegian friend staying at my place that weekend, and it's TG that weekend too.

Cave party: I fail the first listed requirement.

Gashinryu's birthday: same weekend as Glade festival.

Your birthday: I'm not sure whether I'd enjoy the banquet thing or not... I'm leaning towards probably not. Combination of my lack of interest in booze and booze-oriented events, my fussiness re: food, and my dislike of travelling. Especially to Wales ;)

Thanks so much for including me on your mail. Hope the poker is fun :D I am really up for the medieval fair, and maybe the cave party - but that depends on whether its cool between Ben and I and I'm feeling happy about going to the Coven in Luton. If I'm not I'd love to cave it with you guys.

Also really up for your Birthday but I'm rubbish and having trouble logging in to LJ at the moment. I'll reply properly to that when I manage to remember which of my passwords I used!
