I did a little bit of philosophical musing while in the smallest room on the quaint human trait in measuring our age by the number of times we've orbited the sun.. but then I decided it was just as good a measure as any other and went back to my desk.

Ok hun, I'll bear than in mind thank you for the heads up. I'm not sure what we're doing as yet - it's my weekend with the kids and I'd like to do something, but it'll depend on other wants and in the main, if I'm feeling up to it. Can't believe how whacked out I was come Monday - felt ok over the weekend, thoroughly enjoying feeling well enough to get on with things...then BAM! Scary :/

Glad you had a good birthday - I'd ask you how it feels to be 30, but no doubt you've heard it a hundred times already ;p

In a twist I bounced the question back at my mother - what does it feel like to be the mother of a 30 year old son? ;)

The BBQ on Saturday will be child friendly until a point - probably around 9pm. We have a (10ft, 30") pool!

Haha...I bet she loved you for that! **grins** I can remember similar being said to my Mum. Now of course she gets the 'so how does it feel to be the grandma of a 16 year old?'...she loves that one :D

It would be great to see you guys too, will keep the above in mind - I'll try to let you know (one way or another) that we're on our way if we are coming :)
