Good: Hellgate London is good enough that I may even *shock* buy it!
Bad: Can't play it now.
Good: I fixed the problem with not being able to VPN into work! Seems the latest kernel upgrade on frontier for FC5 comes with the right modules to load to get it working :)
Bad: I woke up at 5:49am today, unable to go back to sleep. Don't feel much like working now.
Good: The sofas arrived!
Bad: Getting the old ones out and the new ones in was a pig of a job. One of the recliners doesn't, and there's a blemish on a part of a sofa (barely noticable).
Good: The shop are sending someone to fix the problems.
Bad: Disposing of the packaging and old sofas.
Good: Get to see a good friend tonight :)
Bad: ..to fix his computer.

Karma appears to be in balance :)

I've been playing Hellgate: London on and off for the last week nearly, and it seems a bit hit and miss - if you liked the Diablo series, you'll probably enjoy it anyway, if not, it's got all the good and bad bits of that series! The weapons don't really feel solid enough, which is a fairly major gripe when most of the game is gunplay/swordplay!

That said, I'm enjoying, it's a flawed gem of a game :)

Yes, I'd spotted some of those flaws. But it's a pretty good recreation of Diablo in proper 3D, so it gets my thumbs up. Online play for free, too - only pay if you want 'premium content' which doesn't actually unbalance the game.

Sorry :( I threw it all away. It wasn't especially great bubble wrap anyway as it was lined on the poppy side with foam..

I've probably got some other bubble wrap you can have though :)

If you are thinking of buying it please do yourself a favour and DO NOT buy the digital download. The EA downloader is showckingly painful as it disconnects very frequently (i.e. Every few minutes), it doesn't reconnect and it only manages a few Mb at a time in between. when the total download is 6.8 Gb you'd be well advised to go out to the shop and not take the lazy arse option like myself.

Before you ask yes my firewall is appropriately configured for the necessary TCP and UDP's. EA are just poo for digi downnloads. I can't even leave it running when I am out as it will disconnect and not auto connect! Bah - babysitting downloads is annoying hence my request for a refund.
