Life at a different pace
May. 5th, 2008 07:11 pmToday
ev1ldonut and I helped out Cheltenham Archers on their 'have a go' pitch at Bredon School Fair. This was a day of life at a slower pace than I'm normally used to. It was quite a refreshing change. Although I did catch the sun a bit as I was caught unprepared, not expecting strong sunshine when the day started off grey, overcast and gently drizzling.
I did take some pictures of some various things at the fair:

Hunting dogs

Old race car

Aston Martin DB9

Ferarri 360 Modena

Lamborghini Murcielago

Oops.
Don't worry, the last picture is staged. We were going to get the chairman in shot with a mock hand-over-mouth pose, but the dog perked up when he got close.
I didn't take pictures of the clay pigeon shooting, the air rifle range, or many of the other things like the historical tractor display (can't say it's really my thing) or the very old restored engines that saw the start of the industrial revolution come to the farming industry, the enormous shire horses pulling the even more enormous wagon, or the other various standard fair miscellany.
