I suspect I should only consider dating those who answer 'yes' to my question. Note, this is just an observation, not a statement of intent, before any of you get worried ;)
My theory is that someone who can look after plants may be more likely to be sensitive to the needs of someone who doesn't want to demand attention for themselves. That, and I respect someone who thinks plants are important enough to bother with.
Ultimately it's to do with me believing someone may be more suitable for me, albeit by an arbitrary and indirect metric.. it's a bit like star signs, but a bit more personal. It's probably just as good as any other method - i.e., not very. :)
Nice theory. Sadly, it has fuck-all relationship to reality, as witnessed by my mother who evidently radiates a field that kills plants, and my favourite psycho aunt who is an expert gardener.
