Possible pair^W ear infection?
Jun. 22nd, 2009 07:56 pmWoke up feeling groggy. Then feverish. Took some paracetamol, went to work. Felt steadily worse. Came home. Sitting quietly is fine, but now it's rubbish.
Not sure I'm going to be in work tomorrow either at this rate; if not I'll make myself a doctor's appointment first thing.

Date: 2009-06-22 09:11 pm (UTC)Sounds like it could be the run of the mill viral infection, probably best to stay home tomorrow anyway, your body sounds like it's telling you to rest up. The Doctors sounds like a good idea, if it's a viral infection they will just tell you to have plenty of fluids, take paracetemol and rest because there is nothing more they can do, but in the current 'pandemic' status, they're being extra vigilant.
How do I know all this? My blog circa 2005 is full of posts about viral infections, I had 13 in total that year, luckily I don't have them very often anymore, only had four in the past year. When I had my last one back in May I was asked a lot of questions and the doctor spent 10 minutes on the phone with the HPA asking whether I should be tested for swine flu. They didn't test me, I asked to self monitor for it.
