You know how 1984 was always upheld as a dystopian future, yet recent governments have seemed to view it more as an instruction manual? Well, I've noticed a similar thing with Idiocracy. Compare and contrast a clip from the film with a reality. And as far as I can work out (barring simple fear of litigation), the app makers are dead serious.
