Here I am all set up for the ride and something weird happens and suddenly my rear brake is scraping metal on metal. Not good. I think I'm going to have to replace the disc anyway but the timing is crap. So I get the pads and set about to change it and discover I need a bloody torx set!! (that's like a hexagonal allen key with concave edges to form a star). Rushing around the DIY shops is a let down. Needless to say it starts raining as I do all of this.

I'm going to have to try a specialist shop early tomorrow morning! And apparently the weather for the ride out is going to be sunshine and showers.. gah.

Another one will have to be arranged when everyone is organised and have well-maintained bikes and money to do it. So, when's that then.. *grrrr*

I can just bet that Murf will have what you're looking for, as he's never gone out on a bike without his toolkit.
