This is actually a semi-serious post.
Feb. 16th, 2003 01:07 amI've just come to the shocked realisation that it took me in the region of 3 years as a kid to get up the courage to play the 'B' side of 'The Birdie Song'. The significance of this huge delay is evidence of my autistic tendencies at that time. How can someone not have noticed that's what it was?
I don't regret it though because my experiences turned me into the person I am today. And despite the stress at the moment, I actually quite like who I am.

That's my stock answer to the "Don't you wish that had never happened?" question....
Its my take on life, if I still like who I am at the end of whatever experience, then I'd rather the crap that goes with it, since the alternative may be a much less likeable person... if that makes any sense at all... I'll shut up now ;)
