Tonight, my droogies, we did viddy the vast spectacle that is the Stanley Kubrick masterpiece.

But now, a conundrum. Upon commenting on the eve's hotness, kissycat1000 agreed with my suggestion to remove our offending lacsicals in order to bask in the coolth of the night.

ev1ldonut sits here in eager agreement, but we are not unjust. It is cast to a wider audience, and thus:

Hmm. Looks like it could be one of a number of things - some of which are only tangentially related to A Clockwork Orange, at that.

I'm intrigued now - not that I wasn't before. When you say "quite evident", do you mean "look, pictures and everything" or something not quite so quite evident? ~s~

And how can I love mind games but be driven mad by guessing games, anyway? Bah. :)

Oh, that was obvious with the pictures and stuff. Of course she's taken what we started and developed it in her own way - I don't think what she has now would work for me necessarily.

Guessing games are a bit trite aren't they? But you have to learn about me somehow. ;)

I don't know that I'd describe guessing games as 'trite' - they just drive me up the wall because I'm used to people just telling me things. ~grin~ Which is a much easier way I could learn about you - just by you telling me things...

She's lucky to have found what she has but it wouldn't work for everyone. I always thought it was what I wanted but now I'm not so sure. Still, wow. ~s~

No.. certain people bring out certain things in me. I'm defined (at least in part) by those I choose to interact with. But there are (some) limits to what I enjoy. I enjoy aspects of what she has, but 24/7 would not keep me interested.

A lot of people like the idea of what she has but balk at the concept of doing it all the time, of having to keep those roles straight 24/7. I think you can only really do it if that 'role' is actually the greatest part of who you are, so that it feels absolutely natural. Most of the people I know are just too fluffy and fuzzy to be like that - or in some cases too scared or too lazy. ~shrug~ I envy people in full-time D/s relationships, but it's not something I need. I used to think it was though.

Oh of course I want you to know. But my main problem is I learn things about myself from who I interact with. I can't tell you who or what I am out of context; it's irrelevant. In some ways that's perhaps what makes it so difficult for people to get to know me - they can't work me out until they know me, and even then, to them I'm just a particular version of 'me'. Strangely, none of these versions seem to contradict. They're all just different parts of my personality.

There is of course what you already know. I'm not cruel without purpose. If I didn't give you something alongside teasing you you'd lose interest. As for finding things out about me, I'd say you're doing rather well already ;)

Yes, I think we feel similarly about 24/7 D/s relationships. In my case I would say it's because I know I'd lose interest - it's just not that great a part of me. Don't worry about rambling. How else am I supposed to get to learn about you? Oh, and believe me. I love learning about people, and you give me a lot to learn about ;)

There's a knack to getting information out of people.

You could call their bluff and feign indifference, until they believe they want to tell you more than you want to find out.

You can do the classic 20 questions thing.

Or you can come up with guesses so debased, so extreme and so scandalous that they'd sooner reveal the truth than have you make another guess. This is my preferred option.

So. goddesssnoweh discovered, with azekeil's help, that she liked being anally reamed using the dismembered leg of a dead Catholic Cardinal by a man in a teletubby suit wearing rubber bra, stockings and suspenders, while being watched by an audience of pygmy hermaphrodites who hurled cat turds at the stage and screamed passages from Mary Whitehouse's autobiography, translated into Urdu, in a high-pitched falsetto?
