I feel like I'm beginning to get a handle on things at work now. I'm writing this while the scripts to create all the default oracle views and permissions etc are running. I could almost say I'm beginning to relax and enjoy myself... but naah, I think it's much more euphoric relief in disguise.

In case you didn't know, I'd been plunged in the deep end again by work. Luckily

dylan has offered superb moral support and technical support too which is fab of him :)

I'm just about keeping up with the goings-on on LJ. Sorry to hear about the troubles a fair few of you are having. I hope to get the chance to comment on appropriate posts but I've been too busy to do much, what with travelling, trying to spend some quality time with

kissycat1000, sleeping, work - of course, and trying to sort out the home computer issues.

Myself, I'm feeling a lot less stressed now that I can see a light at the end of the tunnel with the new role, and the legal things are now sorted and out of my hands. I can't say I enjoy stress that much so this is a welcome relief. Not sure what this weekend entails but I'll be spending it with

kissycat1000 somewhere so that will be great :)
